Permission for Responsive Services

Dear Parent/Guardian,

The counseling department at BACS offers solution focused counseling to support our students’ behavioral, emotional, and spiritual development. We would like your permission to include your child in these services. These counseling sessions address a range of issues that students may face including stress management, decision making, support with life changes, relationship skills, etc.

To participate in counseling services, we require parental consent. Please read the information below carefully, sign, and return this form to BACS.

We recognize the importance of creating a confidential, non-judgmental space for students to share their thoughts, feelings, and concerns. However, we also recognize the God-given role that parents and guardians play in the well-being and spiritual growth of their children. If a situation arises where it is deemed best for the student's mental, emotional, or spiritual health to involve the parents, we will do so.
